Deere 450B track

I have a 450b crawler and it needs a steering clutch. Tried to remove track tension by removing the square head bolt with jam nut and nothing happened. So I cut the track pin and removed the track. Track frame had a broken bolt where the front cross member attaches and I wanted to fix that. Well in order to get frame off I need to remove the tensioner piston... how can I do this? Tried wrapping a chain and pulling it with a ratchet binder to blade, and tried turning with 4 foot pipe wrench. Any tips/tricks to getting it away from spring holder? Posted on crawler board but lots of knowledge here also. Thanks Matt

Thanks Dan! Just registered so hopefully can start posting soon, seems like a nice website/discussion board for crawlers. Thanks again. If I may ask whereabouts in Ohio are you? I'm in Perrysburg (Toledo) area. Have a good day Matt
