I bought a John Deere 435 round baler at an auction and I know zero about the thing. I did not get the baler controller with the machine and I have had trouble finding one. The baler I have has both twine and net wrap but the only monitor I could find seems to be for twine only. Does anyone know if the baler monitor can be upgraded to run the net wrap or do I need a monitor dedicated to balers with net wrap? I have found limited help from the local John Deere dealership and I am pretty much on my own. Any information that helps me with my baler problem will be appreciated.

IIRC any 435/535 monitor should be fine. Netwrap is hyd operated(merely switched by hyd valves from twine to net) and monitor just notifies operator whats happening as in when it's wrapping & when to eject bale. There is only one monitor listed in 435/535 parts catalog and parts descriptions or footnotes concerning monitor doesn't mention netwrap.
