Hi , I have seen front rock shaft parts mecum tractors . 3 questions . 1 can this setup be put on a 50 ? 2 will this raise and lower front mount series 200 cultivators ? 3 how costly is this setup ? Thanks Jimmy.

You probably could attach one to a 50, but the front rockshaft really didn't make its debut until the 520s etc. There were 2 versions... as they could be run with either one or two remote cylinders. Your 50, unless equipped with an aftermarket Baker valve, will only run one cylinder.

The 200 and 400 cultivators were made to be run with the rear rockshaft. The late 40 (and I assume there was a 20) cultivators were slightly different, and came with either short attachment links for the front rockshaft, or long poles for the rear rockshaft, similar to the 200 and 400.

In other words, it might fit, but really doesn't belong there.

I'll 2nd what coonie minnie stated.

IMHO frt RS utilized to raise a 2 row cultivator would be a waste of money & time unless one had a lot of contour terraces with a lot of point rows

I"d 3rd. what coonie stated , Dual front rockshaft can be very useful cultivating one row at a time in garden, vegie crops [ especially potatoes, as they don"t come up in very strait rows] ... Single front lift allows rear gang to be dropped independent from front gangs.. AND makes getting on / off tractor [ to pick up rocks lol] much easier .. .... You"ll need short lift rod & clamp on lift arm on cult. see pic. ..... or reweld your 200 cult. lift arm closer to tractor...

How many times y'all tripped over that pipe , that makes a
difference in what is or ain't worth having my dump
opinion . Short fat and bound to trip on something ! I
guess what I want is a useable tractor, don't want it to
break th bank but what do y'all think it would cost to fix
up a front rock shaft ? If I do should I use latter
cultivator frames as of now I don't own any?
