I have a '39 JD model B. It has a pto driven power lift on the back. I had never seen
anything like it before. When I was young we had a '50 B with a built-in lift. This looks
like an early version of that. Thanks

They were an option for the unstyled A's and B's as well as the early styled tractors. I've got one i'm putting on a Unstyled B.

I've got one on my 39A thanks to a friend who happened to pick it up along with some M parts. I had to make a shield to cover the chain and sprockets. Mine works great on the early bean cutters. Can drop either side individually or both at once.
