only the side hill's had it as an option...

6600 side hill only had The 404....The 466 only came out in the 6620 sidehill

ok thanks guys. I bought a 4430 that supposedly has a 466 out of this combine. guess I will call him tomorrow and ask him again

The late 6600's ('77 and '78) had a 404 engine in them with the later SideHill combines having one with a turbo. The 466 was never available until the 20 series came out. Mike

Yes,, I was thinking our 6600 Side hill had a 466/turbo,, but it must have been a 404/turbo, for some reason I was thinking that they offered them in that model before the tractors...

tag would be on the left side in the just behind the oil cooler mounted right side up on 466. 404 tag on combines were right side to the rear of engine put on upside down so the could be read you leaned over the engine
