I'm hoping somebody has seen something similar. My brother's 2950, quad range, 1000/540 Pto, has one complaint, leaking load control shaft seals. When he drained oil to start work the surprise was one ball, like from a bearing, and metal flakes. We found the source of the flakes, used to be a thrust washer in the PTO final drive. The amount of flakes and material in the filters look like that is all that was chewed up. But the ball with no marks, and diameter 0.372 inches, we can't find in manual or part listings. (so far). Spreading everything across the shop floor to check is almost as painful as waiting for it to go belly up hooked to the no-till. Our thanks for any help or insight you can give on this.
