JD 1010 rear wheel size question.

I have a 1010 RS diesel with 26" rear cast wheels.Was that an option or has someone switched them from 24"?

Don"t know it 26" was an option ; but Single row crop , utility, & orchard all used cast wheel center, M2609T, and both a 24" or 26" rim bolted to that center....

Every one that I have seen have had 24" spinout wheels.

For what it's worth, it probably came that way with 26" wheels. Checking the parts book online it appears that 24" wheels were used with gas engine tractors and 26" or 28" wheels were use with diesel engines, probably for a little more traction. With your serial number you can go on line and check it out.
