Model 60 Hydralics

Just purchased a Model 60 and have some problems with the hydralics. I have checked the oil put the pump in gear but can not get the 3 point hitch arms to go up or down, Also need to know how you differentiate between the three point hitch and the external hydralics as the operator manual shows to use the same lever for both functions. That's the way I'm reading it, tell me if I'm wrong.

If memory serves me correct, you must have the dummy plugs in the remote outlets so the rochshaft will raise and lower. If you have a remote hooked up to it or if you have the hydrualic couplers hooked in to it, then the rockshaft will not raise. Insatll the dummy plugs and give it a shot.

My neighbor has the same problem. He does have Dummy plugs installed and it won't raise or lower his 3-point hitch.

One of the "Dummy" plugs could be an adjustable one and not set right...if you look at them close an adjustable one has a cap that screws off to reveal the adjusting screw..

The parts manual can identify some of the components.

You are correct in that the same lever controls both items. It sounds that you have the operators manual... that should explain about the dummy plugs. Also, gravity
takes the hitch down, not hydraulics. Good luck.

Thank you all for your help. I have 2 sets of plugs 1 with caps and 1 with pioneer quick couplers so maybe the one set has that screw in them.
