5020 not ran in 22 years, not stuck, what next?

I got a 5020 that has not ran in 22 years. Always park outside.
The engine turns over withe the starter. I have just made a couple turn with it with a weak battery to not damage anything.

I would like to remove the injectors, test them, drain crankcase and put new oil, pour a few drop of oilin each cylinders and then turn engine with the starter until I got good oil pressure.

Of course I will change oil and fuel filters, fuel supply pump, and plug in a 2 gallons diesel tank to derivate from the fuel tnak which smells very bad.

Do you think that this should work? Am I doing too much preparing and I should just drag it and see what's happen?
What would you do.
Thanks,
Fdt

The first thing is batteries to not damage starter from low voltage.I bought a 4020 that had set for around 20 years .Pulled it 20ft in 8th gear and it ran fine.We then changed all filters and oils and it ran fine.Messing with injectors and lines can cause air and it will never start.I would at least try it.Gas tractors are a lot difference but diesel fuel is different Good Luck The outside sitting if water got into motor would bother me but it would probably be stuck.Tim S will probably have a better answer.

If it were my 5020 I'd check all the fluid levels then check for water &/or air in the fuel put it in 8th gear and tow start it monitoring engine oil pressure with a gauge.

I got it started. The injection pump needed a rebuilt. The flex ring broke and that is why they parked the tractor. Two batteries in parallel were sufficient to wake him up.
I got new clean fuel, and new oil in it. I can register oil pressure on the engine.

The 3pt hitch work (lift very fast), the PTO works.

Problems:
- The clutch is stuck. I am thinking about loosening the bolts holding the clutch mechanism to the flywheel trough the access plate and then hit the starter with shutoff solenoid unplugged. Would you recommend that?
- The power steering works only for a quarter turn: The wheels turns very easily, then steering wheel is like locked up. Before I started the tractor, the oil column was totally empty (I believe very normal after so many years), I could turn the steering wheel many turns very easily. Now the wheels moved very little and even with engine shut, I cannot turn the steering wheel. What do you think on those issues as well? Should I try the bleeding procedure? I put new trans oil filter, and the 3pt raise so good that I do not believe that it is the a problem from the front pump. Would the priority valve over the dash create such a problem?

Lack of power steering could be air or a faulty steering valve but definitely isn't the pressure control(priority) valve in the front of firewall. If pressure control valve was at fault 3 pt wouldn't raise up. If it was my tractor I'd block clutch pedal down and run engine for a while to get machine up to operating temp to see if clutch freed up.
