MC Belt Pulley

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if a new M or MC tractor that came from the the factory without a belt pulley, could have had the dealer install one and if so was there a instruction guide from Deere on how to do it? I'm going to try and put one on an MC crawler that I have and I'm wondering how difficult it will be to do. I now have all the shifter parts and the pulley assembly. I have the rear end cover off and looking in there it seems a tight fit to get the shifter and coupler in without taking at least the left side bearing quill out, which of course makes a much bigger job out of it. Any insight or past experience would be greatly appreciated!

Now that I'm reading the instructions I think I see the problem I'm having. It doesn't say anything about installing the coupling and yoke. They must suppose to be in there already and they are not. Plus I don't have the shifter lock pin which must have held that shifter yoke and coupler in place when there is no belt pulley. Obviously this transmission has been apart sometime in it's life and those two items were discarded. I have them from the guy who sent me all the parts to install this pulley but there is no way to get that coupler in there without pulling out that rear end bearing quill. That's why Deere installed them from the factory. I guess I have a lot of work to do.
