Got the bearing parts and the hose for my JD 25B planter. Gonna fix the runner swords too. I just happened to notice that I'm missing one set of planter chain that drives the fertilizer box. From the parts catalogue it is called #25 chain (it's alot smaller than I've typically seen of this type chain).
I called the JD dealer where I got the bushings, and he said it didn't list a part number so that meant they couldn't get it anymore. He said to check with the Farmers Co-op or another farm supply place. No one here seems to have it locally that I can find.
Online it wasn't as "easy" as I thought it would be to find either. There isn't any on eBay (used or new). Anyways.....I found it online for $35 for a 10 ft. roll. I only need 46 links (to be exact)....plus maybe 8 links for some extra. Anybody know where I could get some like that?? Used or new is fine by me.
