"Misfire" "1 cylinder 404 4520

So I replaced my roosa master pump on the 4520 since I had a leak on it. Now number 1 is not firing.
I did not realize that is was missing after I changed it out. When my dad harrowed the field he said it didn't have the power it should and now we have diesel in the oil. Even after it runs awhile you can lay your hand on the exhaust manifold maybe 80-90 degrees. I cleaned the fuel line to it out, changed injector and pulled it out and watched it fire, checked compression (looks good compared to the other cylinders), Took the valve cover off and watched the valves move.

I had similar problem when I rebuilt this engine last year turned out to be a pump timing issue. Timing marks look lined up but I am out of adjustment (turned all the way clockwise). I tired turning it counter clockwise and still wont fire and just puts off more smoke. Could it be possible that I need to turn it a hair more clockwise?
Thank you all for your answers in advance
