The parts book shows a foam pad and a couple of foam strips in the front support, looks to be around the pump mounting. Questions:

1. What are the pads for? Where are they mounted? Weren't any there when I pulled the radiator and scraped away 40+ years of crud. Parts says to make from R91749, which is described as "Pad - BAFFLE, RADIATOR BOTTOM TANK". Any suggestions on this one? At over 10 bucks a pop, I kind of want to find an alternate solution.

2. When replacing the bushings in the hydraulic pump drive, is any lube used? The old ones were dry and bushings were hard.

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions. Mark

Pads around radiator are designed to keep dirt & chafe from being pulled into radiator & hyd oil cooler.

Dish washer soap is a good lubricant for rubber bushings.
