830 2cyl hydraulics

I have a electric start 830D that I am not able to raise equipment examples ( discs chisel plow ect) after I set them down. It will start to lift and then a loud whining sound starts and no more lift. The oil is full and pump turned on where is a good place to start trouble shooting??

It sounds like the relief valve is opening.

Has it lifted that same implement before, with the same cylinder installed?

I just grabbed the shop manual...

This is NOT a real high-pressure system...

If a one valve system, pressure relief setting is 1230-1300 PSI.

If a 2-valve system, the #1 valve pressure relief setting is 1430 to 1500 PSI, and the #2 valve pressure relief setting is 1230-1300 PSI.

Hi Bob yes this tractor lifted both pieces before without an issues. plowed 40 acres with it year before and it is a single hyd unit.
