520 Pistons - No wiper ring?

I'm putting together a 520 that I'm rebuilding. The new pistons have 6 grooves...one is below the wrist pin as an oil wiper. The piston set only came with rings for the top 5 grooves. The old pistons had 6 sets of rings including a set in the wiper groove. I looked in the parts catalog and they list AR21882R "Ring, heavy-duty oil control" so I'm wondering if that bottom groove was an optional ring for heavy duty use?

This isn't where I got my piston set (probably should have) but the picture is what I have: http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/store/parts/pics/wm_R1987.jpg

I'd call where you got them from as they did not give you enough rings it sounds like. They should of also included instructions as to which rings go where.

The Heavy Duty oil control rings from JD were just ventilated rings with expanders. Just only 2 rings 1 for each piston. The standard set would of had solid rings with no expanders in many cases. Then you would also have to order the HD set for in worn bores if you wanted the expander type rings.

Thanks for the input. After some research the vendor got back to me yesterday. They are sending me a replacement set of rings...not crazy about a 15 day lead time but glad the situation will be resolved.
