3010 hydraulic pressure low

Standby pressure at 1500. Was working with loader and blade and lost pressure. Steering and brakes work fine. 3point and loader operate very slow. Checked fluid level. Changed filter. Cleaned low pressure screen. In searching this forum I found a few comments referencing stroke control valve. Are there other test I can preform before I should dive into that?

Screw the stroke control valve adjusting screw "In" a couple turns and check the pressure again, do this till you get 2250PSI,,if no result comes from adjusting, the stroke valve is probably chipped at the seat and will need replaced..

Will give it a try and report my findings. Need to get the gauge back home first Have a neighbor borrowing it.
Thanks for the help

Check the divider (pressure control valve) it's by the firewall, on the right hand side. Mine has gotten stuck, and caused the same problem.

If it lost pressure all at once there could be debris stuck under the stroke control valve preventing it from closing. If it has a manual destroking screw turn it in with the engine running to flush the debris out of the valve.

Is the destroking screw also referred to as the lockout valve?

Yes. It will turn in easy at first then will turn harder as it opens the valve. About one turn after it starts to open the valve should do it.

I'll 2nd the idea checking pressure control valve on firewall. If in doubt I'd check stand by pressure with valve removed from housing.

Hoping to give this all a try tonight after work. This has been more information than I've ever gotten from our local dealer! Many thanks and I will report my findings

Went thru the same thing with my 4010 a couple of years ago. With some excellent coaching from TimS and Tx Jim was able to determine my stoke control valve needed replacing. My local tractor mechanic and I were able to replace the stroke control valve, o-rings, etc. with the pump still on the tractor.....wasn't easy but it can be done. My email is open if you have any questions.

screwed in the destroking screw and then back out. pressure went from 1500 to 2000. tried adjusting the pressure up (by screwing in the control valve adjusting screw) but was not able to get it any higher. It was suggested that the stroke valve may be worn or possible even have a groove in it and need replaced. I had tested the pressure about 6 months ago and it was at the 2200 to 2300 mark.
