4020 no fuel

Posting for my brother he has late model 4020 with the small fuel injection pump. This tractor has set in a heated shop for abount ten yrs. The motor is free drained fuel ot of tank and changed fuel filters. He has fuel to the injection pump but nothing out of pump. The electic shut off clicks when you turn key on but no fuel out of injection lines when you crank engine over. We have tried to pull start also but no fuel out of injection lines when pulling tractor. This was my fathers tractor and would like to get it running again. Tractor ran good when placed in shed. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

The delivery valve is hung up,, rattle the foot peddle like your mad at it and try it again,some times they will shake loose like that..

Setting that long it probably has stuck plungers too. Just took down a JDB 4020 pump that only sat four months and both the metering and delivery valve were stuck along with the plungers. It did have stale biodiesel in it though..

It is too bad the bio fuel doesn't keep the lard for pie crusts instead of putting it in diesel fuel.
