possiblility of installing three point on a 8200 without it

Have a chance to purchase a 8200 ordered without three point hitch from the factory.
How hard is it to install this back onto the tractor.
I know I can get the arms and cylinders from a wrecking yard. My biggest concern is the dash controls and if the cab is wired for the electrical.
It does already have the top rockshaft without the lift arms. Also the bottom draft ears are presant
I would have to rely on used parts from a wrecking yard to keep the cost down. It is a very low HR tractor in nice shape, that is why Im considering it. thanks for any help.

Anything is possible, just add money! I am also thinking the Armrest wiring harness would include wire for the hitch. I know the standard option is for 3 SCVs and when adding the 4th and 5th the wiring was there. What I am also wondering is the wiring for the HCU (hitch controller) and the HCU itself. Also probably available from a donor machine. Then of course it would all need to be calibrated in order to work.

What does it say in the free JD parts book on the JD web site ?

As far as I know JD parts doesn't "say" anything

JDparts.com has been a pain for me to access lately

Problem is your vision being colour blind after driving that orange tractor.

What snow in Texas?

We've had snow twice in Texas this Winter. About 3''s each time. I cleared my driveway just so I could check out the heater in the cab on my Orange tractor.

From viewing JD parts for 8200 I doubt there is there is any 3 pt components on the inside of diff housing as it utilizes external lift cylinders with electrical controls.

thanks for all the comments and replys.
I have investigated the parts book on line that is
FREE. This three point system fits a few models and
Im getting a price from some wrecking yards usa.
The biggest problem will be the electrical wireing
to the valve, console and draft sensor.
figure it will be a 5000 repair throwing in my
labour, which Im use to. thanks again.
