Front rock shafts on NewGen[value]?

Had a call wanting to sell some weights and said he had a front rockshaft set up for 4020.Does it have any value?I would imagine cultivator was intended use.There were some nice LP 2Cyl at last Mecum auction and they all had them with cylinders and hoses.Im sure some people want every option.Have had some people request a special traction hitch also but have only seen pictures.

New Gen frt rockshafts were used for frt mount cult,planters & bedders. They could be operated with one or 2 hyd cylinders to raise each side independently for point rows. I would think they would have value very similar to other antique items.

Not sure on a value, but you don't see many of them... if I 'm not mistaken, there may have been special side tins for their use as well. At least I think there was for the shorter 3010-3020 models.

You're correct on the special side cowling for rowcrop 4 cylinder tractors(2510/2520/3010/3020) equipped with frt RS.

I have two out in the shed, not sure of the value but they are neat. Maybe someday I will restore a tractor and put one on. Tom
