D hydraulics[where to find ]

A salesman at JD asked me if I knew where to find hydraulics for a D JD.I told him I had 0 knowledge of 2 cyl tractors but I thought some one on here might.Thanks!

There was a dealer installed field option. I think my dad might have some info on it. It consists of a distributer driven hydraulic pump and the installation of an AR hydraulic control box and at that point it's up to the owner to decide wether to keep the pan seat or move up to the cushion seat that mounts on the box. We have one one our D.

I opened email to reply.This person is looking to add hydraulics.As I stated just trying to help someone as my knowledge is 0 on 2CYL.

Service bulletin #210 tells how to install it. We will mail him a copy for three bucks.
The pump won't be that hard to find but the valve unit might be.

I have a 48 D with the field upgrade installed on it. The tractor is still in the same condition it was when i got it, but if anybody is interested in some pictures i can snap a few off and post them.

I have seen a few they is hooked on the PTO. They might of been a aftermarket add on.
