4430 3 point

I am looking at a 1977 4430 to buy. everything appears to be sound except the 3 point and it will not raise. We hooked up a cylinder to the hydraulic couplers and they work, I know that is really not a pressure test, but all I have. Is it possible that this could turn into some major repair or just adjustments? Also anything else I need to check? Quad stays in gear, steering is good as is the breaks.

I think 3 pt not raising will be a 3 pt linkage problem. Where is the L/D lever setting that's by your right leg when sitting in the seat? If it's not in minimum setting put it in minimum.

Also be sure nut(parts key 44) is tight in rockshaft housing.
