Need a starter for a G

Will the starter from a 620 fit on a G? Same bolt pattern? I know a 4430 starter will bolt on to a G. I wonder if a 4020 starter will fit a 4430. If so then it might also work on a G. I'm grasping at straws. Can anyone help?

I have an extra one I was going to sell can't tell you about the others but seems 620 took a bottom mount and different engagement method. email is open

A starter from a top mount A 1108914 will work if you use the G starter nose. The angle of the G starter nose is slightly different than the A starter. Otherwise they are the same starter.

These are the only way to go. Have even used one on a 3020 diesel.

When you say "these" which are you referring to, the 4020/4430 starter, or the ones that MSD posted the link to and why do you say that?
