630 manual to power steering conversion. What will it take?

I want to put a power steering system on a 630 standard. Will all of the components on a 630 row crop fit the standard and if so has anyone done this? How much work would this be?
Thanks

Yes it will work. But it might be cheaper to buy another tractor.
You will have to start at the governor, the vent pump & PS drive shaft, couplings and tube, PS pump & support, Hose & pipe and the rest of the components at the front of the radiator.
It's a lot of work but it can be done.

Hope so as I plan to do it to my 60std, already got the support the ps pump sits on. Everything is waiting for me to get the time.

I sold a working power steering off my 60C donor tractor for $900,a couple years ago, I'm looking for a 60 power steering pump and fan shaft assembly now for my current project..

Yes I have a manual steering and want all from the governor case to the fan, will need the bracket in the front that holds the fan up from the frame, they are different too...

We did my dads 730LP. The only problem we had was that the LP's steering shaft support is different than the gas or diesel. The other problem we had that took a little work around was the place that I bought the parts from misunderstood me and sent me P/S stuff from an early 720 rather than a 730. So our 730 has the early style spindle shaft with the shoulder bolts and the earliest style vent pump. No big deal, but just had to get the rest of the vent pump parts from the original donor tractor. Works like a champ now. One important thing to do before installing the control valve is to either rotate or replace the hardened pins inside the steering valve actuating sleeve. The original pins get flat spots and allow too much play. My 730D has this problem. When the steering gets warmed up, it wants to steer one way easier. It's much harder to center the valve with worn pins. New pins are waiting for my 730D, just gotta find the time.

Thanks for all the responses! The tractor I wanted to get them
off is a 630lp so it sounds like a full days job and some parts
are different.

Couple things to add to what is already here . Yes a 630 std is the same basic tractor as a 630 rowcrop . The cast shaft support is different lp to gas - all fuel though . Look in your parts book and it will clear all this up .
