Date for the 1956 JD logo change

I know the JD logo changed in 1956 but does any one know the the exact date it changed to the new 4 legged Deere with all yellow back ground? I was born in 1956 and was just wondering exacting which "sign" I was born under of the 2 that year. The old or the new.

Hey Randy im a little upset there wasnt any replys to your question. I was interested in the answer myself. I believe you are refering to the quality farm equipment logo to the 4 legged deere all yellow back ground sign.
all I can come up with is that the first numbered tractors had the quality farm equipment sign and the 20 series had the newer emblem.
Hope someone else pitches in. Good question.

According to the US trademark filing, it was first used on August 1, 1956.
