My friend has a 1999 John Deere 6605 that KEEPS ON giving PTO trouble. It is now blowing a 10 amp fuse that we KNOW is directly involved in keeping the PTO running. We have looked at & replaced 2 solenoid "coils" at the rear of the tractor, yet it keeps popping fuses. We thought we had it fixed, but after pulling a bushhog about 100 yards it blew another one. As you know, the wiring system on this tractor is quite complicated & almost impossible to chase individual wires. If ANYONE definitely KNOWS what is causing this we sure would like to hear from you. Also, if ANYONE knows where we cab get a wiring diagram for this tractor without paying $150.00 for a book!! we SURE would like to hear from you. The weather is now BAD... it's HARD to work out there.... and we NEED TO KNOW what will fix this thing. We are pretty desperate now... so just accept our THANKS - in advance - for ANY help that you can give..... FredT
