removal of JD 2355 steering cylinder

Recently purchased a JD 2355 with low hrs. Right front steering
cylinder leaks. How do you disconnect it, in order to take
it in for repair?
Hydraulic line disconnects ... snap ring, pin near tire comes out ...
but then it looks like the left end underneath the tractor is
essentially a bolt/nut/cotter pin combination that is most easily
handled by removing the three bolts that hold the wheel bar
to the center pivoting metal. This seems a bit much, as the
front end would need to be jacked and blocked up in order to
remove the bar holding the tire, in order to easily remove the
cotterpin/nut from the left hand side of the rhs steering cylinder.
Is there an easier way?
Are the nuts and bolts metric? A 1-1/16 is too small, and a 1-1/8
seems a bit big for the three bolts holding the wheels. There are
no washers on these bolts, so I'm assuming they are going to be
hard to remove ... are impact tools needed, or are closed end
wrenches sufficient?
Finally, any advice manuals to buy would be appreciated. I see
an IT technical manual, and a couple of other JD manuals,
service, shop, and technical.

It's probably a metric thread if the tractor was made in Europe. On my 3140 it was a 29MM wrench that did the trick.

on those 50 55 series tractors i just undo the outer end grind off top of pin drive it out as it probably stuck and cheaper to by new one . then i take cly apart on tractor there is just on seal and dust scraper to replace on barrel the trick is to get the snap ring that is on the end of the ram off and back on that you have to work through the the hole where the fitting is small screw driver lot of patients you might even lean a few new words if you have a friend to help but it can be done i get two three every year to do
