John deere b valves

Put the head on a bench or block of wood and push the spring down and remove the 2 keepers on the valve. Doesn't hurt to hit them with a hammer 1st.
May need to put a socket or large nut under the valve to help with dissasembly.

....or just use a large socket and hammer and hit each one (on the keeper washer) and the keepers will fly out inside the socket and pull spring off and usually valve will already be falling out other side. Little secret from those who have to do it by the clock.
