I just put a dual hydraulic set-up on my 630 and when I went to lower the loader it shot oil out of the plug at the front of the cylinder on the right side of loader. I tightened the plug but the hydraulics are noisy when I lower the loader.Am I going to have to put return hoses on the front of my cylinders now?
Thanks,
Bob

Perhaps you have oil leaking past the piston. That is a breather that the oil is shooting from.

If the loader lift cylinders are single acting, you need to set the control valve for single acting operation. The procedure is in the owners manual.

If you installed the factory style dual hyd. valve, the ports on back of valve cannot be used with one hose, single acting cly.'s.. oil in right side cly. is probably leaking past piston seals... check manual to set for single acting cly..,,,,

I have the loader hooked to the lower remote connector just like I did before I changed from single hydraulics to dual hydraulics. I am away from the tractor and my manual until Friday for work, so I'll go through the manual when I get back.
Thanks,
Bob

I would say they are single acting. They only have one hose on each cylinder. My dad bought this tractor and loader in 1963 and nothing has been changed except me upgrading to dual hydraulics last week.
