3010 Utility front axle

I have a 3010 utility tractor. Mine was set up for what I believe to be the short wheel base. I have a 148 loader on the tractor and the tractor has always been nose heavy with little weight on the rear tires. I have looked at this several years and finally decided to rotate the front axle around so as to put the front tires further to the front of the tractor. In doing so everything went great except the fact that upon completion the steering now works in reverse. Turn the steering wheel left and tires rotate right. Is there anything I can do or change on this tractor to rectify this problem or is it a matter of the fact that the tractor has to stay a short wheel base as it was manufactured in this way?

After flipping the axle around you also have to flip the steering lines and all will be well. Goofy feeling the first time you start it and its reversed.
 
Simple switch at fittings , behind right side grill screen, should work, [ you may need some extra plumbing];... Parts book Pc-690, shows dif. bottom lines, long wheel base uses AR26815 & AR26814...
 
Years ago I worked for a Deere dealer. In the area
long greenline man mentioned. We bent the lines and
reconnected them to the opposite line to switch the
steering. Not the neatest, but it worked. Roger
