3130 no hydraulics

Checked filter, sump screen must have been removed by prior owner, and charge tank up front is empty. Leaning towards the charge pump but was hoping to get confirmation.

What are the hyd's doing/not doing??? I'd advise to install a new sump screen. Try turning engine over for 30 seconds with hyd filter removed to see how much oil will be pumped in a 5 gal bucket. Check hyd filter relief valve(parts keys 24 & 27) to determine if it's not stuck open.

As far as hydraulic functions I have none. No pto, hi/lo, power steering, remotes, or three point.

As I previously stated check hyd filter relief valve. Then do the bucket test. You'll have to get trans pump pressure before you can get any high pressure.

Hi
Just as a point of interest, before the hyds
quit was there any grinding sounds when you
used the brakes? If so there could of been a
lot of metal filings in the oil at some point
or they might still be there. and the whole
trans lubrication systems damaged. Had a worn
out 1830 in the shop like that.

I'm thinking you haven't had it long if you
didn't know the suction screens missing?. Thats
usually a sign of hard work and poor
maintenence, or somebody was trying to hide or
get out of a plugging up problem to dump it on someone else.

Those systems are great when they work and a pain if not
There are loads of O and seal rings and shaft tolerances
That if they are wrong it leaks internally, or some hard lines can break inside to.

Hope it's something simple and not expensive
or even possible fix. We took the 1830 out on
the first hunting day and shot a Deere L.O.L
Regards Robert

Checked relief valve and everything seemed to be good had a fair amount of fine metal flakes in it so cleaned and reinstalled then did bucket test and still no oil cranking so I started engine and left it run for about 15 seconds thinking maybe it needed to run more rpms to reprime the oil but still no oil. So what should I do next?
