Fluid in tractor rears

Is there a way to clean the calcium residue off the rims after I drain the fluid out. The rims are salvageable if caught soon. Thanks

best way is to remove tires, sand blast, prime and paint rims, new tubes and wash inside and outside of tire if salvageable and re mount.
Most instances if not planning on demounting tire, suck chloride out of tube completely, I use a steel pipe on the last few drops stuck down to the bottom of the tube through the valve stem.
then I pump a 5 gallon pail of water into the tube and spin it around to flush the tube. do this 2 times sucking it out completely.
air up the tire and wash rim and tire completely where any chloride possibly spilt with lots of soap and water and rinse. This nuetralizes the chloride bite.
spray some fluid film on the valve area after dry to prevent any other corrosion. This last method prevents any more rusting but it does not get the rust that has taken place inside behind the valve stem
Again the only proper way of preserving a rim is to sand blast and take it down to bare metal and give it a good coat of primer and paint.
I have sucked out thousands of gallons of that @#$%@ chloride and its just terrible stuff. Removing it is the first step. Then you can deal with the tires and rims later. At least you dont have a tickin time bomb on tractors beside other restored tractors that the valve stem is going to blow apart and spray chloride all over. look forward to other replys.
