In december green magazine, pg. 7 about Bill Lammle of St. James MN. I have some of the JD contracts from there. The 1950 (same year as the "A" in the picture) the dealer ship ordered 28 A's. 13 of them with roll-a-matic, 7 of them with power lift and 8 with power lift and remote cylinder. Kinda neat I thought since I'm in Michigan.

Hey that is some real nice literature.
excellent history of john deere that you hardly ever see let alone be able to gather that many up for a collection.
my father and I bought an old john deere dealer out years ago and there was boxes of order sheets of tractors. Mostly from the 1010 to the 4020 series tractors. I am going to have a look and see if I can find some to post on here.
JD John maybe we can get some others posting some of their prize john deere literature?? thanks for the pix.
 
Nice stuff! I have been collecting dealer price lists which resemble the contracts with list prices included. Very valuable to find available options different years AND from different branch houses. I'm in Michigan too.
 
I still have the original bill of sale for my 1945 B that my daddy brought new..... Also the original for a 1955 model 50LP that we traded in on a 1530 back in 1972...... Anyone around Seguin Tx with a 50 LP brought from the dealer in the 70s. E mail open? I am looking for that tractor.
