300B hydraulic pump noise

Some of you may remember sometime back I replaced seals kit in the main hydraulic pump (on front of engine) since I did this at low idle especially the pump makes a lot of it noise sounds almost like a rod knocking in a engine I can idle it up a little and it will almost completely go away, is this normal especially for something this old.
Note: when I replaced the new seals I did have the thrust fixed on it but I did not make any other adjustments on the pump nor change any of the valve settings I put it back in and went to using it.

Yes sir Tx I did I had to repair one of the bolt holes with a helicoil because it had snapped into and enlarged the hole that the bolt with the rubber bushing went into, I did not replace any of the internal parts (with the exception of the seals) because from what the tech manual said after inspecting everything they were fine, I did have to use emery cloth paper and sand of the shaft where the seal goes because it had wobbled and had some high spots on it put, I took that to a near by shop (they specially in John Deere) and he inspected it for me and said it would be fine it was very easy to smooth off the shaft

Pump drive and/or the internal stroke-control valve inside the pump can make a hammering noise at engine idle when no functions are being used. I know Jim asked you about the pump drive bushings. What about the stroke-control valve spool and seat? Did you install a new one when you had the pump apart?
