Brass tag AR piston rings question

Recently purchased two NOS pistons (A1893R .045 O.S.) with rings. They did not come in original packaging but they were nicely wrapped in cosmoline type paper. My question: All 10 rings appear to be the same and measure same width and fit in piston grooves the same. I find no apparent bevel on any of them. There is a dot indented on each one. I assume these rings can then be placed in any groove. Am I correct?

P.S. They will be going into freshly bored .045 over block.

Dot goes toward top (closed end) of piston. If there were oil rings, they'd go at the bottom (open end) of the piston with the beveled edge up.
