H carburetor question

How does the main jet pull out of the carburetor body? Is the bottom end tapped to take a pull screw?

Just a smooth hole when new. You can tap it or use a nozzle puller which has like a self threading end on it. I think Robert's Carbs. may sell the puller ? Harbor Freight did sell a small slide hammer set that works too.

Get a 12-24 tap & use a long 12-24 bolt with a stack of washers. (both a bit of work to find). Works perfect. Grease the tap & bolt.

I've used this system on JD D ,AR. and other JD carbs.
