no power to terminal on switch that feeds generator light, is the switch shot.

Is the wire(parts key 18) between each set of 6 volt batteries to seat frame intact?

has 2 12volts,one wire from pos. terminal to batt
box,

It's possible the contact inside switch is bad. 24 volt circuit is completed at the starter solenoid.
