Good videos! I can remember neighbors we had back in the
1940's right after WWII was over, who did their whole farming
operation with tractors just like that. Even though the war was
over and new bigger tractors could be bought they couldn't
afford them because the father had lost his defense plant job
and the 60-80 acre farms didn't make enough. About 1948
things straightened out and shops were hiring again, so a lot of
new Ford 8N's were sold to the small farmers and new M's, JD
A's, and Allis WD's were bought by the full time farmers. It
was a fun time to see the farms doing so well.
