5300 parking pawl

Has anyone else had a problem with the forward/reverser on this series tractor. I have had the parking pawl problem with mine since the first week I have had it. Has caused it to be torn down more than a couple of times.

I bought it new and it has had a few recalls including this problem. I have it stuck now and when I get it to release it is going to be disconnected.

If you know of any factory recalls or issues with this problem I would sure like to know. thank you.
 
There were several updates to the park pawl/FNR linkage on the 5000 series tractors but two things I remember about them is that it is crucial to adjust everything exactly as the book says and that the tractor is completely stopped before engaging park. I would highly advise against disconnecting the park pawl. They will work fine if the two conditions above are met.
 
Have had problems with the park pawl on a 5320. Broke it off 2 times. First time because the tractor was in motion, 2nd time because it was caught in gear and in park at the same time-let the clutch out and SNAP!
