A leaking fluids internally

I recently changed the oil in my A, and there was at least twice as much as there should have been. I put the whole thing aside for awhile and checked things today.

The rear end is full of a watery oil that smells like gasoline.

Where to look and what to do.?????

Tractor has an oil pressure sediment bowl overhauled just last year. I will admit I didn't check the gas in the tank.

Just went out and checked, the gas tank is bone dry.

Now then, how does it get in to the rear end?

Crankcase fills up, then seeps past the right main into the first reduction cover, then into the trans from there.

Check the condition of the diaphragm in the oil pressure shut off even if it was overhauled last year. The diaphram might look like crap After only a year. Replace it with one from Roberts Carb.
