1953 JD 60 hydraulic issue??

The hydraulic fluid on my 1953 JD 60 is leaking into the transmission. Can anyone please help me understand the problem and solution to repair? Thank you!

There is only a couple ways hydraulic oil can get in the transmission on a 60 I believe. One is if your rockshaft cylinder is leaking oil externally and the other is if your rockshaft housing is cracked into the inside. Either way, I would pull the rockshaft and pto unit off of the tractor and take a look.

Thank you Hayrack......quite a lot of leakage.....I'm betting an internal crack in the housing. Appreciate your input.
