What kind of hydraulic oil would a jd 620 use??

You can after draining , use 10w or JOHN DEERE HY GARD

The book says to use the same oil as you use in your engine. Hy gard works just as well tho.

Well, now I wonder how you know you need hydraulic oil. You need a manual. There is a plug about the size of a 50 cent piece, on the back of the tractor, just below the seat. It has a dipstick on it.

You desperately need a manual. If your hydraulics aren't working, it's possible that your pump is disengaged. Engine must be OFF to engage the pump!

The nice folks at 1-800-522-7448 can supply operators and service manuals on CD or hard copy.
