The Throttle on my 4630 is loose u push it forward an it just wants to fall back to idle it I was fine one day an then the next day it's loose what could be the issue

There's a black plastic plug in the console below the throttle lever. Pop it out. Inside, is a bolt with a spring that puts tension on two friction washers. The bolt may have backed off, or one or both of the friction washers are gone.

Sorry, there's no plug for the throttle. My mistake. Take the shield off on the control console to get to the throttle friction.

(quoted from post at 18:32:41 11/06/14) The throttle handle on my 4630 is loose. When pushed forward, it just falls back to idle position. It was fine one day and the next day it was loose. What could be the issue?

The parts book on the JD web site will show every component and where they should be.
