Hello. Problem with steering. Rebuilt
the steering valve this spring, put back
Together worked couple days, now will
Hardly steer. Oil comes out of bleed
Valve.
Even when tractor off will not steer.
dealer thought steering motor
(Where tie rods hook on)
Said you had to take off
front axle,then a side rail.
Is there an easy way from top.
I don't know how to hold the
frount up,alot of weight. And
If one takes off a rail, would have
to put a. Beam under the oil
Pan and don't want to crack it

Thanks

I'll guess the valves aren't adjusted correctly in the steering valve housing under steering wheel. If the valve was mine I'd put it in a 5 gallon bucket and send it to Tim S in Ohio and let him repair/test it.

You need to take it back to the dealer because the valves aren't adjusted correctly. No use to go elsewhere ,you paid for it once .

You have a point Don,, but if they adjust it wrong again and it has to be put in and taken out again....that is a lot of hassle..for $250 I will open it up ,,check it out and re-calibrate and bench test it...Now he will know that the valve end is right...and of course the dealer should do some re-reimbursing...but we both know that probably won't happen..Darn it
