I set out to mount my abg90 plow on my 70 yesterday, I adjusted the L shaped brackets that hold it to the frame of the tractor all the way out and it was still a hair to tight so I decided to break out the sledge hammer and bend em a bit. I found quickly they are cast iron, why I hit the other one I will never know. My question is if they were originally cast or were these different, I am sure this snow plow should fit on a 70.

Ben,
On some tractors you have to loosen the bolts on the L brackets to get them past the tractor frame and then re-tighten them.

That did occur to me after the fact, my head was definitely not in the task at hand at the time. I have an owner's manual for bothe tractor and abg90. Looks like I will wind up making new ones outa steel cause I doubt anyone would be interested in selling me the brackets alone. Unless any of you gurus can think of a part from something else that would work in this application

I am going to ditto Rich. I had to do that process for the L brakcets to get that frame onto my MT for my MT72. I only had to do that the first time and afterwards it fit just fine.
