hey guys . im still trying other options before i pull steering valve off tractoor. for a recap the powersteering quit working going to the left. at times it will half work but rest is real tight. one thing i was told that it most likely could be is the steering valve body. i was told it was under hood next to firewall, but there is nothing there. it comes straight out of my steering wheel pump and runs straight to the front . one thing ive noticed too that if i take the line loose at front the wheel turns fine and easy. i know with lack of resistance it should but it lets plenty of oil thru the line also. any help i can get. thanks

ok that figures. do u still think its the steering valve then Jim? im fighting taking it off and after i bled lines in front it got a little easier to turn. one thing too when i was running it i turned off for a few min then started up and it stoped going left at all. the wheel would go all way left but wheels wouldnt. the had alot of slack in them though. like air in the lines or something. killed it and let sit for a few min then started again and went back to working somewhat.

ok well that will be my fall project then. i apreciate the help. honestly not looking forward to it lol

I'm 99.9% it's the valve.. Pull it out and ship it to me I will re-build it and bench test it for $350 parts and Labor.

well went to take tractor across road to unhook post hole digger yesterday and steered decent and then got on road and all of sudden steering wheel went hard right and locked up. bleed both lines up front and got it to work again. got a bout 100 yds in pasture did again. repeated process and got back to working. alot stiffer now and alot of play in the front end now. it isnt possible it could be in the front end instead of steering valve could it. not trying to fight yalls wisdom but im on limited budget and have to use this thing this winter feeding and want to make sure i get the right thing fixed. thanks guys
