Distributor question for the green guys....when the flywheel is moved by hand on a 3010...shouldn't the rotor mover immediately with it? When turning the flywheel back and forth...my rotor seems to have a slight lag before it turns...???? Any thoughts....

After all these years I'm sure it has wear from when new. Problem is knowing how much movement is "normal" and at what point excessive wear starts causing a problem.
A slight lag would have to be there because all the gears involved to drive it would all have to have a little backlash. If you are having a problem it may well be worth pulling the dist. up out and looking it over good. Check the drive end for being loose to the shaft too. Check the bushings for looseness and if any shaft wiggle you should be able to get a new bushing for it.
