There's someone selling a 510 in my area.
What's the story on these?
Are they a good tractor?
Worth repairing?
Can you get parts?
What size are the rear tires?

Thanks!
Joe

It's a Deere/Lance 10 speed chassis with a Dubuque 300 series engine.
The 310,510 & 710 is vastly superior to the 2010 but I would pass on it. Otherwise study up on German parts and service manuals.
Deere finally got it right with the 20,30,40,50 & 55 series series Dubuque/Mannheim tractors.

As for tires, probably 14.9x28. Very low capacity, limited rudimentary hydraulic system. Power assist steering an option. Ten speed transmission with a two stage clutch. The engine is the best part, a 3 cylinder 151 cu. in. similar to a 1020. Oil bath air cleaner. Some tractor parts no longer available. I'd pass. A 2020 or 1020 would be light years ahead. Yeah I'd certainly pass....Ron
