Pto seal/shield mount WTB

I posted earlier about the off camber look of my unstyled B's pto shield/seal mount. After some research, it looks like I need part #F524R to have a plumb shield. My B has been converted to the long 13/8 shaft and this part (original to the unstyled G) will accommodate the large PTO and provide for a level shield. Thanks for any help in locating a reasonably priced part.

Have you GOOGLED "DEERE F524R"?

LOTS of "hits" there to sort through, just the few I looked at, between $75 and $400.

That maybe rules out "reasonable" though???

Actually I did and all I saw was the $395 ebay from McGrew. I'd much appreciate the links for the $75 part

I didn't save the search. IIRC, the $75 one may have been on fleabay???

Keep look'in, a better deal usually comes up on old parts, if not now, maybe next month.

Over the years, I have often been surprised at some of the deals I've gotten by watching and waiting.

ONE example was a $650 hydro part I got for $12.

A guy on ebay had several, the first went for half price, the second for about half that, the third (which I snagged) went for $12.
