Front tire recommendations

Looking for some help with my front tires on my 4020 diesel. The trouble I'm having is that the three rib 9.5L-15 tires I have on the front of my tractor tear the ground up terrible when I turn when I am mowing. The tractor has a loader on it, so there is some weight on the front end. Would switching to four rib tires help this, or do I need to just put implement tires on the front? What about the used aircraft tires? Thanks

The aircraft tires that you find usually don't have much tread left. When you go to turn, your front end will likely slide and your going to end up using the brakes to steer. I would just go to an implement tire.

I have 11L-15 4 ribs. They seem to work pretty good. A little more traction than just an implement tire, but not nearly as aggressive as a 3-rib tire.

You've actually got TWO problems. First, get rid of the loader when your mowing, no need to carry all that extra weight around.

Second, slow down to steer, lightly step on the "inside" brake when turning.

We had 11L x 15 rib implement (wagon) tires on the front of our 4010 and it steered O-K, didn't tear new seeding or anything else up. And it steered as well as the brand new 4020 & 4320's I ran for the neighbors with 3-rib 10.00X16 fronts.

When I replaced the tires on my 4010, I was trying to decide which to go with....3 rib or 4 rib. I went with 4 since the machine is used mostly for forage (hay) operations and I felt it would be more "gentle" on the hay. However when the loader is on the machine, it tears up the field. So to what others have said....remove the loader. I've done so and it definitely is easier on the field.
