rebuild 4010 hydraulic pump

The hydraulic pump on my 4010 leaks pretty bad and I'm thinking of having it rebuilt. I believe it is an early version without the extra drain pipe going back to the tractor. I've heard of a place near Kansas City that does this work with a maximum price guarantee, but I can't find them in my searches. Does Tim S rebuild pumps? I don't know how to get in touch with him, either. Any recommendations? Thanks, John

Yes I can re-build it, and bench test it right here,, $250 plus parts, if yours has a drain line it has been replaced some where along the way, which is good the early ones did not have a drain line,, the seal drain was ported to go to the charge oil side which was not as good.

You looking for a "rebuild" or a "reseal and test?" Lots of places can take apart the pump, get the bearing end-play set right, replace inlet and outlet valves, stroke-control valve, pistons, and springs, etc. It's a 2 hour job on the bench.

Finding a place that can somehow renew the cylinder-walls back to new OEM specs, or bore oversize and install oversize pistons is a whole different story. The pistons and bore-holes are the main wear area.
